SUB-DIVISION est une formation franco-anglaise a l'identité musicale unique : de l'électro-rock teinté de multiples influences issues de la cold-wave des années 80 jusqu'a la cyber-électro moderne en passant par le gothic-rock et le métal-indus.

Historique :

2001 :
Sortie du 1er album ' Trauma ' sur le label La Citadelle Production. Ce 1er CD offre une diversité bienvenue dans le style : rock électronique, guitares acides, voix dépressives et plaintives rappelant la cold-wave, rythmes industriels, passages atmosphériques au piano, .

2003 :
Pour son 2eme album ' Calling for Gods ', distribué par Mosaic Music, SUB-DIVISION présente un univers désincarné (gothic, électro et métal-indus) le tout sur une production sonore a la fois brute de décoffrage et tres compacte. L'électronique vient accompagner a merveille des guitares plombées et tranchantes aussi bien sur des titres furieux que sur des balades hypnotiques. Un chant affirmé et une formation en pleine osmose, emplie d'assurance.

2005 :
Sortie du 3eme album ' Electroshock ', mixé par Pfx68 et distribué par Mosaic Music. Virage amorcé vers un style plus électro-rock explorant des pistes inattendues et plus personnelles. Reconnaissance unanime par la critique de tout le talent du groupe !

2009 :
SUB-DIVISION, de retour avec son nouvel album le plus aboutit, fete ses 10 ans d'existence de la plus belle des manieres. Pour l'occasion Lol et Fodge ont été rejoints par Dee, chanteuse d'Atomic Tabasco.
' TEN YEARS BEFORE THE DREAM ' regorge de tubes implacables dans un style électro-rock parfaitement maîtrisé qui laisse la part belle aux chants et mélodies entetantes.
A l'image de ' The Downward Spiral ' de Nine Inch Nails ou de ' The Fat of the Land ' de Prodigy, le nouvel album de SUB-DIVISION s'annonce comme l'une des références majeures de la scene électro-rock actuelle.

SUB-DIVISION is an anglo-french formation from Toulouse (France) with a unique musical flavour: electro-rock tinged with a variety of influences ranging from the French Coldwave rock of the 1980's to today's cyber-electro, with a touch of gothic rock and industrial metal thrown in.

History :

2001 :
The group release their first album ' Trauma ' on the Citadelle Production label. This first CD is a breath of fresh air on the scene : electro-rock, acid guitars, manic-depressive, mournful vocals, industrial rhythms, atmospheric piano riffs .

2003 :
The second album ' Calling for Gods ' is released, distributed by Mosaic Music. A disembodied creation (gothic, electro and industrial metal) built on a sound that is at the same time unrefined and compact. The electronic base is wonderfully supported by heavy and cutting guitars both on fast-and-furious tracks as well as on hypnotic ballads. All topped off with an assured and confident vocal.

2005 :
Release of the third album ' Electroshock ', mixed by PFX-68 and distributed by Mosaic Music. The album represents a change of direction towards a more electro-rock style exploring unexpected and more personal paths. Reviews of the album unanimously recognise the prodigious talent of the group.

2009 :
SUB-DIVISION are back, with their most accomplished album to date, celebrating the group's 10th birthday in the best way possible. To mark the occasion, Fodge and Lol engage the services of Dee, lead singer of Atomic tabasco.
' Ten Years before the Dream ' is packed with unrelenting hits, a perfectly formed and controlled electro-rock that puts the spotlight firmly on the vocals and catchy melodies.
Modelled on Nine Inch Nails ' The Downward Spiral ' or Prodigy's ' The Fat of the Land ', SUB-DIVISION's latest offering is set to become one of the definitive references of today's electro-rock scene.
